Guglielmo was always an irresponsible boy. He took what he wanted. He did what he wanted, regardless of the consequences. So when he married at twenty, married a beautiful spitfire of a girl who regularly slapped him and whom he regularly threatened to have murdered, it was the general consensus that it wasn’t going to end well.
Which it didn’t. Just not for the reason everyone assumed.
